  Online-Activation and Licensing

Free Viewer
Without a valid License Key 3D-Tool can be used as a Free Viewer with limited functionality.

Activating a Commercial License online
Commercial licenses can easily be activated online directly from the program. Install and run 3D-Tool and then in the licensing window just enter the Authorization Key from your License Certificate. Within about 30 minutes you will automatically receive the License Key by e-mail.

Get a free 14 day Trial Key online
You can get a free one-time 14 day trial of 3D-Tool Advanced. Install and run 3D-Tool and then in the licensing window hit the "Trial License" button to start the online request. Within about 30 minutes you will automatically receive the Trial Key by e-mail.

3D-Tool Free Viewer
The Free Viewer opens 3D-Tool EXE and DDD-files and STL-files. The usage is completely free of charge.
The installation is possible without administrative rights. The Free Viewer already offers a large part of the 3D-Tool functionality. Among others the Free Viewer offers measurement, cross sections and explosions. However, you can only load one file at the same time and there are no publishing and export functions available. A detailed comparision between 3D-Tool and the Free Viewer can be found on the two pages Functions and File Formats.
